Food and Beverage Photography shot on Film.
There is something about analogue photography that feels different straight away. It evokes a feeling of nostalgia, It holds onto the small imperfections, the softness, the grain, the subtle shifts in colour, and turns them into something beautiful.
In a digital world where everything can be perfected, film offers a more honest alternative. It creates images that feel less constructed and more lived, with depth, warmth and a natural richness that is hard to replicate.
It won’t suit every brand, but for some, it just fits, and when it does, it brings a depth and character to the images that helps your brand stand out in an authentic way.

A Few of my Favourites

All of the work on this page is captured using 35mm film, most often Kodak Ektar, which I choose for its rich colour, fine grain and natural depth. Anologue photography is a slower, more considered process. There is no instant preview, each photograph is carefully shot, then sent off to be developed and scanned, with a turnaround of around a week.
This way of working requires a more intentional approach, creating food and beverage product photography that feels more natural, more tactile, and authentic.
